I had the vaccine Gardisil about 4 years ago and I have just been diagnoised with cervical cancer. I paid to have the 3 shots for nothing.

Oh, boy. Here we go. I'm a nurse, and the vast majority of fears about any vaccines are unfounded. The risks, as far as I see from research, do NOT outweigh the benefits it this case either. One person comments that gardisil did not prevent her cancer - but patients are told upfront that it only prevents some sources of cervical cancer, so she can't complain when she ends up in the minority. That doesn't mean it doesn't help other people!
