Lab testing shows homeopathic remedy Gelsemium works for anxiety
A study done by Bellavite P. et al. found that Gelsemium had a positive action on anxiety in lab mice. This remedy was given in a 5C potency and compared to an anti anxiety drug called diazepam as well as a placebo. Researchers concluded that Gelsemium had a positive influence on the mice with regards to emotional responses to novel environments. There was a significant decrease in fear related behaviour exhibited in this mice. When additional tests were performed with a higher potency, 30C, they found that it had even a greater effect.

Mice? Seriously? I've had doubts about homeopathy as humans are very likely to feel the placebo effect, but is there such a thing in tests on mice? Although, tests on mice really doesn't predict human behaviour that precisely, either.

However, it does prove that homeopathy does work in mice with anxiety. That remedy has been used for over 200 years for anxiety. Why let biases against a type of medicine discredit a scientific study? Animal studies prove there is no placebo affect with this remedy.
